Hi little princess
Want to send my greetings and respect from Germany. I´m a jazz trombonist (sometimes Rat Pack Show and several BigBands) with my own band (groovelegendorchestra.de). Normally I only listen to Jazz but sometimes I have to listen Pop. And it has to be loud. One of my favourite is `Crazy in Love´. Do you like beeing on tour? I think it´s a great experience but comming home is best. Perhaps you will be on tour in southern Germany (Nuremberg) and we can meet together. Will show you my city and clubs. And perhaps you can play in my band.
Go on doing your thing! There are much to less women in our scene.

Yours

Ingo

I'm so very proud and happy for you. When you tour through the Bay Area, maybe we could meet?

Your new record is gonna rock! I can't wait to hear it! And trumpet pyrotechnics are *way* overrated. Gimme some tasty, soulful playing any day of the week.

Plus... dude, you're gonna FLY!!! THAT IS SOOOOO COOL! And you'll be a redhead like meeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Sorry for you loss....

January 30, 2006

Oh, Ninja Princess. I am so sorry that Moo had to move on. She was a great cat, and I'm glad you had so many wonderful years together.

Much love to you, much love to TNT, and much love to the spirit of Moo. And to Popeye, who will find a way to muddle along; perhaps she will adopt Mr. Feathers as her new sibling.

I know you will find just the right way to explain all of this to the NPJ. Because you are just that rockin' a mom.

Love you,

Kate

January 26, 2006

Hello,
I am composing this from the ER at St.Vincent's. You see I just worked on Kiku's back tonight and I lost all sensation in my hands and arms. I am actaully writting this with a chopstick taped to my forehead with an eraser glued at the other end to punch the keys on my computer. It took me 2 hours to write this.
The DR. said he has seen this before, it's called Kikuitis. I am the fourth LMT to contract it from her. You see her back is made of some alloid steel. Anyone that works on her back will get this....this Kikuitis.
I think I'll pull through. They gave me Vicodin and a shot of Jack to ease the pain. The other LMT's did not make it.
So I will pour alittle of the Jack on the floor to honor them.... this is for my Homies..

It's good that you're not one of those parents who gives their kid a THOUSAND chances to settle down, because you know they'll never learn. I'm told that when I was little I acted out (not that Tani was "acting out" in this situation, I'm just giving an example) in the mall ONCE, my grandmother promptly took me home not giving me another chance and I never acted out in public agian. A very smart, dedicated woman that grandmother of mine is...I'm sure she didn't want to leave the mall. But I learned fast to behave..thank's 'Ma.

Nothing worse than sub-standard roe. There isn't enough wasabe and ginger in the world to cover that. Hope your 24th birthday will be better than this one! ;-)
Anyway, the most you can ever expect after the age of 21 is to survive your birthday. I mean what do you have to look forward to after that? Oooh, at 25 I can rent a car! Oooh, at 35 I can run for president! Wow!
It was fab running into you for the first time in forever the other night. Still sound phenom on the trumpet. Can't wait til your next gig in Oct at Kavehaz! C U soon.
Best
